Caroline began her career as singer, writer and rhythm guitarist for the Blue Aeroplanes. Going solo she was discovered by Billy Bragg and toured with him and Christy Moore with a CD out on Utility Records. She experimented with hip-hop, making a dance version of Baudelaire’s ‘Le Voyage’, followed by an album of poetry and songs – ‘Ten Light Years’. She writes and sings for the band The Winnebago Orchestra with Spencer Roberts. In recent years, she has written chamber musicals, a string quartet, beat songs, satire and sonnets.
